Brian C. Perlin is the founder and sole principal in the law firm of Brian C. Perlin. Mr. Perlin graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in Accounting in 1979. Mr. Perlin graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 1982.
Upon graduating from Law School, Mr. Perlin joined Northern Trust Bank of Florida as an estate tax specialist. Mr. Perlin’s primary duties were to prepare estate tax returns and fiduciary income tax returns. He also consulted with outside attorneys with regards to estate planning matters.
Mr. Perlin left Northern Trust Bank of Florida in 1983, and became an associate in the Law Firm of Carlos and Abbot. While at Carlos and Abbot, Mr. Perlin specialized in estate planning and probate.
In December of 1984, Brian C. Perlin established his own law firm in Coral Gables, Florida. Since opening his law firm, Mr. Perlin has prepared over 3,000 estate plans and has administered over 450 estates.
Mr. Perlin has been certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in the area of Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar. He has been awarded an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell. The AV rating is the Highest rating awarded.
Mr. Perlin is a widely acclaimed speaker and seminar leader in the field of estate planning and asset protection. Mr. Perlin has gained a reputation as a dynamic speaker in the estate planning area and has spoken before numerous civic and private organizations as well as the general public.
